We charge for discovery so it is real work with a real output, not a sales call. If the honest answer is that automation is the wrong fix for your workflow, the plan says so and you keep it.

Build it, or keep the plan. Both are fine.
If you go ahead, the $750 is credited in full and the build starts from a scope we both already trust, from $1,800 fixed. If you do not, the plan is yours: the map, the risks, and the test cases work whether we build the system or someone else does.
